We grieve the passing away of the Founder of the Bhavan's Nadiad Kendra Shri Jitubhai B. Trivedi on September 14, 2021. He was 97.
Jitukaka, as he was fondly known throughout Nadiad, was completely dedicated to Bhavan till his last breath. His creative imagination, capacity to work hard and commitment to the Bhavan's ethos were amazing. He established Bhavan's School at Nadiad in the year 1997 and ran it successfully for the past 25 years. He started the School at Nadiad with 120 students and today it has over 1500 students, studying from Play Group to 12th Class.
Though he stepped down as the Kendra's Hon. Secretary and became its Patron-in-Chief a few years back, Jitukaka continued to be in command and guided the Kendra activities in general and the Bhavan's school in particular with fantastic enthusiasm and energy of a young man. For the past year, his focus was on building up Bhavan's centre of skill-development.
Jitukaka was undoubtedly one of greatest honararies in the history of Bhavan. He is survived by his daughter, Ketakiben Jha. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
