Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir was set on the soil of Tripura on 2nd October 1996 by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is the product of constant hard work, dedication and lots of good will of Late Regional
Director K.V. Gopal Krishnan and Late Administrator B.C Banerjee.
Some of the special features of this Institution includes individual cottage module for the tiny tots, extension of playground, library facilities, access of computer, well-equipped laboratory etc. it is co-educational, C.B.S.E School with 100% success at the Board Exam.
Besides, individuals attention to the Children, parental care, wise counseling are the principles of this institution. There is Swavalamban institution where women learned stitching and Gandhi institution for teaching computer. Thus it has become a popular institution in the city.
Apart from BTVM, there are 6 other Institutions serving under Kendra.
Bhavan's Kala Kendra which is actively running in the city to promote
different co-curricular activities.
The institution having several mllestones yet to achieve. At present it is one of
the shining stars in the field of education. The institution works with the
mission at making students independent, well behaved and good citizen of our
mother India.
NEWS & EVENTS

Bhavan’s 14th North and Northeastern region school athletics and cultural meet was organised by Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyashram, Bharwari, Uttar Pradesh from October 29 to 30, 2025.
Lekhak Gaon Mahotsav

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir Hindi teacher, Mrs. Priya Roy, was invited by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, former Union Education Minister, to attend the three-day ‘Lekhak Gaon Mahotsav’ (Writers’ Village Festival) held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
It is indeed a matter of great pride for the school that Mrs. Priya Roy, as a new writer, was honoured for her remarkable literary contribution and for encouraging students to express themselves through writing. The honour bestowed by Dr. Nishank and the Lekhak Gaon family is not only a recognition of her work but also an inspiration for all the teachers and students.
Tripura Info Mega Quiz
BTVM students won Best School Trophy and Cash prize Rs.5000/- in Tripura Info Mega Quiz Contest 2025.
Shishu Utsob 2025
At the auspicious SHISHU UTSOB 2025, Bhavanites received the Top Ten Best Bengali Writers award and also presented a recitation.
Social Science Exhibition

Little Bhavanites organised the social science exhibition with full enthusiasm. Various models and projects related to social science were showcased. The event aimed to highlight student’s talents and raise awareness about Social Science.

National Level Painting Competition
Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir’s Ritesh Guha Roy won national level gold medal in painting organised by Maruti Academy of Gujarat and Sri Dharshini Kalaikoodam and best of the best for all Indian art work prize organised by Dream Young & Children Art Academy.
Singing Talent

Arpit of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir won the Second Prize in Group B (Juniors) of the Tripura Idols Season 5.
Bhavan’s 11th Olympiad Prize Giving Ceremony brings together the best from various institutions! Special gratitude to VC MBB University Dr Bibhas Deb and Principals of Umakant English Medium, SSRVM, Kathiababa School, KBI Udaipur, KV Kunjaban, Monfort Ranirkhamar, for their kind presence.
TRIPEX- 2025
Department of post organised TRIPEX- 2025 under which various competitions were held like quiz, letter writing, painting, letter box painting. Many students of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir participated and secured various positions: 1st position in quiz (Senior Group)—1st Abirata Bhattacharjee, 2nd Samriddha Holme Chowdhury. Letter Writing (Senior Group)—1st Rajasree Saha, 2nd Ashmi Rudra Paul, 3rd Hrithika Bhattacharjee. Letter Writing (Junior Group)—1st Taijam Bashkar, 3rd Pritha Bhattacharjee. Letter Writing (Sub Junior Group)—2nd Prathista Das, 3rd Sakshi Choudhury.

In the Inter School Quiz Competition, in which 11 schools participated, Tripureshwari Vidya Mandir was declared Champion, First Runners-up was Ram Krishna Mission School and Second Runners-up was Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Mission School.
National Sports Day

Bhavanites celebrated with a thrilling football match! Students showcased their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the field. The day was filled with excitement, cheers, and proud moments. Congratulations to the winning team and all participants!
Outstanding Contribution

Bhavan’s Authority honoured the entire staff of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir for the tireless efforts they are providing to develop the institution. Chairman Shri Debashis Chakraborty felicitated Shri Bishnudhan Das, eminent teacher for his outstanding contribution in the field of education.
Science Seminar

Soumyajeet Chakrabarti and Bibhor Pal of class IX, achieved a remarkable feat by securing 3rd position among 50 schools in the District Level Science Seminar organised by SCERT. Topic: The Quantum age begins: Potentials & Challenges.

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir student, Aariya Deb (Class 10), got recognition as an ‘India Book of Records Achiever’ for making a stencil portrait of Lata Mangeshkar in 4 minutes, 25 seconds using an A4 size sheet of paper and black paint, at the age of 14 years and 8 months.
Miss Sadhwika, student of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir received the Bhupen Dutta Bhowmik Merit cum Means Award 2025 for her outstanding performance in Class 10 Board Result.
Debate and Speech Competition

On Teacher’s day, the Lions Club organised a debate and speech competition. In this competition student Hrittika Bhattacharya of Class 9 received a certificate of participation in speech competition and Ritesh Guha Roy of Class 11 became the champion in debate competition.
10th Olympiad

Largest school level Olympiad in the state of Tripura completed its 10th Olympiad exam with grand success in five centres—Narsinghar, Khowai, Udaipur, Ranirbazar and Anandanagar. 10000 students and 48 schools participated.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2025

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir successfully organised the Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign. Among all the activities there were Tiranga Display by tiny tots, Notice Board Decoration, Door-to-Door Tiranga drives, letter writing campaigns to show gratitude towards soldiers and police personnel.
