This book touches some of Gandhiji's basic concepts, his role in the partition of India and the removal of untouchability. This book helps the youths to see Gandhiji in the right perspective. The book has five chapters and deals primarily with Gandhi's ideas on non-violence, satyagraha, partition of India and removal of untouchability. The simple technique of narration, punctuated with generous quotations and the author's own observations make interesting reading. The author does not make any claim of scholarship, nor does he try to interpret Gandhi as he appeals in all humility in the opening chapter 'confession'. 'I shall consider my toil of some worth if atleast one Gandhi-hater after reading this small book changes his viewpoint towards Gandhi and sets himself in the 'Search of Truth'.'
