ISBN : 81-7276-027-2

About the book:

The book defies the western thought that Aryans were a race from Central Asia who came to India and pushed the Dravidians down south. According to the author Vedic Aryans were Indians, their forefathers were residents of India from time immemorial, their language had an Indian base and their Indian dialects were cultured and gave shape to Sanskrit. The book is thought provoking and he has given adequate proof to support his thoughts.
There is no trace of any Central Asian heritage, says the author. The word Arya was used for any person who followed the Aryan way of life, who held fire sacred and attributed divinity to natural elements. It also stood for a person who was gentlemanly, nobleman, respectable and cultured. Aryan race was Indian and not imported from Central Asia or anywhere outside India.
