The College was established in 1962. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
The College conducts four-year courses leading to Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 each. Subsequently, Part Time Degree Courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engg. were started in 1985. These courses were for Diploma holders with an intake capacity of 60 on a self-supporting basis. Unaided courses in Computers and Electronics were started in 1994 with an intake capacity of 60, subsequently, course in Information Technology was started in 1998 with an intake of 40 which was increased to 60 in 1999.
The College also conducts a three-year part time Post Graduate courses in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
