The Gandhi Centre was inaugurated on November 4, 1989 by Swami Ranganathanandaji and is located at the Bangalore Kendra of the Bhavan. The objectives of the Centre are :
(a) To establish a link between scientific progress and human values by initiating suitable study and research programmes.
(b) To examine the changing value systems and the relevance of age-old values in the modern context.
(c) To make comparative studies of the methods of enquiry and understanding of modern scientists and the ancient seekers and to undertake in-depth studies of scientific as well as spiritual insights.
