Founded in 1967 by Kulapati K.M. Munshiji, the Sugam Sangeet Vibhag conducts classes in integrated Vocal Music for more than two days in a week throughout the year.
It is non-examination oriented programme of coaching Kavya Sangeet (Sugam Sangeet) covering wide range of related topics like Voice Culture, Fundamentals of Hindustani Classical Music, Gujarati Folk Music, Introduction to Poetry-literature, Poetry and song composition-appreciation, listening sessions of live and recorded music and visits by poets, compossors and singers.
Bhavan Gayak Vrinda
It is approved by All India Radio in 1969 and Doordarshan in 1985. The Choral Group is led by Shri Marutikumar Trivedi and Smt. Abha Desai.
