Lord Rama has been loved and revered through the centuries as a personification of good and the best of creation. As Brahma said to him, “The Worlds are your body, and the Earth is the patience that is in you.” When he was granted a boon by Indra, Lord Rama requested that the Vanaras who lost their lives in fighting evil should be given life again and restored to their mothers, wives and children. Lord Rama’s name must continue to symbolize peace with goodness and righteousness, and never be misused or cause loss of life or even strife.
