It is the Great Vision of our sages from time immemorial that has made our land sacred with an unbroken tradition of culture and wisdom. Throughout all troubles and turbulence over centuries, India has stood like a rock guiding humanity with her noble civilization values, India is concerned not only with her future but of the world as well, as exemplified by the dictum 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (World is one family).
Today, after over half a century of independence, we in India have to once again rededicate ourselves to many unfulfilled aspects of the dream of Swaraj. India has achieved a lot in this period but we still have several daunting tasks to accomplish, especially in the diverse fields of development.
