Undoubtedly freedom is birth right of each and every object with or without life as enunciated by almost by all religious scriptures, philosophers, scholars, social activist and saints born on earth. By having divide and rule policy Britishers have done so much damage to this great nation which was “Hindustan” before 14th August 1947, which seems to be irreparable.
Fifty five years have elapsed since our political freedom and we had the privilege of building our own fortunes. It is more than obvious where we have landed. A nation proud of great incarnations like lord Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Gurunanak, Baba Farid, Vivekanand, Gandhi and millions of others is confronted of with a problem to handle corruption cases against Prime Ministers, Chief Ministers and other highly privileged officials. Communal frenzy became of some divide and rule policy based on the basis of caste, creed and religion as adopted by the Britishers.
Leaving few exceptions every Indian is busy in aggrandizing wealth and powers without any significance to the quality of “Means”, I see a darker future of India in case each and every citizen particularly the elite and educated persons of the society take up a mass revolution to convey the message that it is not the result but the “Means” through which it has been achieved has a real value in life.
