I would like to see India as a model of Rama Rajyam: all the people happy, healthy and living in harmony as well as living to serve others.
Our goal should be to strive toward the ideals established by Mahatma Gandhi and to make our nation an example to the world. I am very proud of India because already Indian culture and traditions are appreciated and emulated by the West. Our Vedic culture, Yoga, Ayurveda are all being embraced by the Western world, especially in America. And, as well, India is making use of Western technologies and innovations. I would like to see the bridge between the East and the West strengthened to where there is cooperation to bring together the best of both worlds.
Let us feel we are neither Indians nor Americans but that we are living and serving together as one global family in peace and harmony.
