The very first thing that I visualize in the future for our nation are social and economic upliftment of the citizens, technological innovations, breakthroughs and applications, a strong political leadership that can safeguard key national interests and self sufficiency in all sectors.
A decade of liberalization, India has benefited in umpteenth number of segments. Globalisation is the magic mantra. But the concept of foreign participation is like a double edged sword - unless the Indian players make themselves competitive and efficient to international standards, this very magic mantra could turn out to be an ‘SOS’ of a nation in distress.
One thing that I would badly long for in tomorrow’s India is tremendous boost in the economy. Technological advancements is one thing India can be certain of in days to come. India will be the launch pad in sectors like medicine (Ayurveda), spirituality and meditation, education, tourism, bio-techniques etc. With the extent of genius and talent that our nation processes, it is evident that we will lead others in research and technological wonders. With agriculture remaining the backbone of our economy and sincere dedicated endeavors from one and all in the society, I visualize a brilliant and promising future for India.
