Conforming to the order of dharma with no conflict whatsoever characterizes the essence of the Bharateeya culture. This implies naturally that every individual has to act from the sense of what is right or appropriate in a given situation and not from pride, greed, anger and hatred. For a Bharateeya the order of dharma is a manifestation of Isvara (God) like everything else, and therefore, he or she cannot go against the order for the sake of religion or God (Isvara).
This vision and the way of life are noticed even today in the day-to-day life of many people living in the urban and rural India in different degrees. Our educational system needs to unfold this vision and help the children see the beauty of growing to conform to this vision. The commitment on the part of a Bharateeya to pursue a life conforming to dharma makes him or her bound to doing duties more than demanding rights. This spiritual culture still being alive in the people of Bharat, it can be stoked to cover the entire life of every one in this country who cares for this native profound culture. For me, India rooted in its dharmic culture is not a dream-it is possibility. I work for actualizing this possibility.
