OUR PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THIS FILM FESTIVAL

War and destruction hinders the over all growth of nations. The world community is currently breathing the air of terrorism. It is high time, that the world citizens should come together to deliberate alternative solutions and experiments.
World leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, His Holiness Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King have propagated the philosophy of Non-Violence. Non-violent struggle is an evolutionary process. It may be slow and gradual, but it is strong enough to penetrate the unjust and evil. Let truth, courage and determination be our weapons to eradicate the violence that is prevailing today.
The 7Islands International Film Festival thus, intends to expose the Indian youth to films that brings new ideas, methodology, solutions and experimentation for social change through Non-Violence and Global Disarmament.
