The Chennai Kendra was established in 1958. The Kendra is situated near the famous Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple which attracts a large number of visitors both from within the country and abroad.
In line with the policy of the Bhavan, the Kendra gives importance in imparting the language of Sanskrit by conducting regular classes and holding regularly Bhavan's Saral Sanskrit Examinations.
Various other courses conducted by the Kendra at the Centres for Music, Dance, Language, Yoga, Karate, etc. |
