Fun & Frolic |
The Teachers at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, HALIDA were privileged to participate and enjoy various activities during the month of March 2006. Besides correcting papers and invigilating for Examinations during the free time various activities were organized by the teachers for fun and frolic.
Just after the final term exams we had the “Teacher’s Day out” we set out to venture Haldia in our School bus and landed at Classic Inn. The room was exclusively arranged for the Bhavan’s Teachers. One of the teachers conducted a game, laughter and joy filled the air. The aroma of delicious food served settled us down to our chairs and then came the time to return. Yes it was a wonderful day indeed.
Then came the time for the birthday celebrations of two teachers, they hosted a lunch party wherein all the teachers and administrative staff ate lunch together. The time to test our voice skills was suggested and the famous Antakshari was conducted, the teachers in their best voices sang to the tune of the conductor, hmm!!!!!! our teachers have sweet voices. Finally like all schools ending with examinations we had “Cook N Serve” examination, three groups were given the ingredients to make sandwiches, the table was neatly spread and arrangement of food and accessories were beautifully laid by the three groups “Blossoms, “Daffodils” and “Daisies”. Can you guess who the winner was???? It was all three one for Taste, other for Presentation and Finally the other for Innovation. You can check it out at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, HALIDA.
