The Bhavan's Library is a public as well as a research library. It offers students and scholars an ideal place for higher and serious studies.
The Bhavan's Library was established in 1947, out of the funds collected by the Munshi Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Committee. The Library contains rare books on Indology and Sanskrit, as also 1,404 manuscripts. Its rare collection attracts scholars and research students from all over India.
A large number of students including research scholars regularly visit the Library for research/project work.

(The Children's Library)

The Children's Library, which is attached to the Bhavan's Library, was established in 1950 out of a generous donation offered by Sheth Vallabhji Ramji.
It provides reading as well as recreational facilities to children from 7 to 15 years. Besides books and magazines, facilities for playing indoor games are also provided. Total number of books is 7,620.
Bhavan's Public Library, Delhi
The Public Library was started in 2000. The Library has a rare collection of books belonging to the late Dr. C. Sivaramamurti, Director of National Museum, donated to the Bhavan by the members of his family. There are many others who have gifted their personal collections to the Library. Presently, there are 104 number of volumes. The Membership is open to public with a very nominal fee is Rs. 50/- Presently, it is a Reference Library. However, there are plans to make it a lending Library.
Bhavan's Library and Pustak Bharati,
Nagpur
The Kendra has a library containing almost all Bhavan's publications and a book sales section attached to it. Bhavan's publications are popularised through sales and participation in Book Fairs conducted at Nagpur.
Rajaj Centinary Library & S.K. Subbiah Pillai Library,
Chennai
This is presently housed at the T.Nagar Centre.
Children's Library,
Coimbatore
The Kendra has a Children's Library having 15,000 books donated by the Round Tables of Britain, Ireland and Australia. The Library had been updated with the latest publications in all subjects.
