Volleyball Tournament

Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram, Kodaikanal, hosted the Cluster-V Volleyball Tournament organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Teams from various C.B.S.E. schools of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry took part in the 2-day tournament from September 28. In the boys category finals, La Chateline, Chennai, defeated Kola Saraswathi, Chennai, by 3-0 and in the girls’ category, Shri B. S. Mootha School, Chennai, defeated Atomic Energy School, Kalpakkam by 2-0.

 

 

Orientation Programme for Teachers

Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram conducted an orientation programme for teachers of Madurai Sahodaya Complex on January 3-4 and Smt. Jayalakshmi Jagannathan, Retired Deputy Commissioner, Kendra Vidyalaya Sangathan, and Shri M. Mahadevan, Retired Principal of Kendra Vidyalaya Sangathan, were the resource persons. The teachers were updated with the various teaching techniques.
