Valmiki Award Honour

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was honoured with the Valmiki award by Pu. Morari Bapu on 30th July 2017, on the auspicious occasion of Tulsi Jayanti, which is the birth anniversary of Ramayankar Shri Tulsidas.
Every year on this date scholars, researchers and publishers are awarded for their contribution towards keeping alive the tradition of our holy scriptures and Puranas. Many acclaimed kathakaars have been the recipients of the prestigious Valmiki award, Vyas award and Tulsi award given by Chitrakut Dham.
This year Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was selected for working towards keeping the values of sanatana dharma alive and promoting its awareness among the new generation through education.
The award consist of a memento, a cotton garland, shawl and cheque of Rs. 1,25,000/- .
