Inauguration function of NTPC Vidya Mandir, Mouda

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has started the NTPC Vidya Mandir at Mouda which will commence from the Academic Session 2015-2016. On the auspicious occasion of its inauguration on June 12, 2015, a Havan Pooja was performed at the School Premises by Smt. & Shri Praveen Garg, AGM (HR), NTPC Mouda in the presence of the Management & Executive Members of the Bhavan and NTPC.
The dignitaries present were Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra, Shri Thangapandian, Group General Manager, NTPC Mouda, Shri V. Sahu, G. M. Project (Stage-I), NTPC Mouda, Shri R. C. Patnaik G.M., O & M, NTPC Mouda and Shri A. K. Pandey, G. M. Project [Stage-II] NTPC Mouda.
The members of Bhavan's Nagpur Kendra Committee, Smt. S. Sonarikar, Secretary, Shri K. M. Agrawal, Treasurer, Dr. A. K. Mukherjee, Smt. Roopa Kulkarni, Prof. Q. H. Jeevaji, Shri Rajendra Chandak, Smt. Padmini Jog, Shri Vijay Thakre, Registrar, Shri Jagdish Lakhani, Auditor, Smt. Vandana Bisen, Principal, Bhavan's Ashti, Smt. Parwati Iyer, Principal, Bhavan's Trimurti Nagar and Smt. Madkholkar, Principal, Bhavan's Kalasrjan were prominently present. They appreciated the Principal Smt. Janaki Mani for her efforts in developing the School. The Principal appraised the members about the infrastructural facilities of the School viz. Auditorium, Multi Purpose hall, Digital based classrooms, Art & Music room, Hi-tech Computer lab & library. The Chairman and the members thanked the NTPC Group General Manager, Shri Thangapandian for giving a huge playground of 2 Acres to the school and said that Bhavan's NTPC Vidya Mandir is a great boon to the people in and around Mouda. They also said that the School would be a Centre of learning and Development for the Students.
The success of the program was attributed to the teachers of the school, Shri Mangesh Thakre, Ms. Chaitali Chandekar, Ms.Shraddha Kuber, Ms. Sangita Chavan, Shri Nishikant Vaidya, Shri Pradnya Barahate, Shri Nishad Ladse, Shri Vishal Sortey, Shri Nitin Kosare, Ms. Dipali Jangilwar and Ms. Sarika Das.
