The students of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda participated in a 'Vigilance Awareness Week' during which Shri Saleesh Sankaran, Inspector of Police was invited to the school on November 22, 2011, to talk to the students about the need for them to be vigilant in all their activities and in their dealings with others. The meeting was presided over by Shri V. S. Madhavamenon, the School Secretary and Shri Purushotaman, PTA President.
The school also hosted a Value Education programme on November 15th, 2011 with a talk given by 'Sandhya Deepam' fame. Shri Girish Kumar of Amrita TV.
