The 60th Annual Number of Bhavan's Journal, the Diamond Jubilee issue was released by Dr. M. S. Swaminathan, on August 11, at M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai. He said: the Bhavan's Journal is doing yeomen service to the Nation by publishing very informative articles which is the need of the hour. Dr. Swaminathan also recalled his close association with (late) Shri Ramakrishnanji and the Bhavan's founder Kulapati Munshi, when he was the Minister for Agriculture. He further said that the Bhavan's Journal 60th Annual Number is an inspiring one and hoped that it will be widely read. Dr. Swaminathan also conveyed his appreciation to the Bhavan for doing all it can to spread Bhavan's spirit of harmony and happiness, in India and rest of the world.
