List of questions: I want to ask you about bhakti that you are talking about. Bhakti seems to me to be a lot of emotion, like a childlike cry. How can one rationalize this, knowing that you are yourself God, according to Vedanta? We all believe that God is the creator of the entire universe and of the human race; no one can do anything without His Will. Then why does God make some people practice virtue while others are indulging in vices? We hear so much about e learning these days. Will computers eventually replace teachers in our classrooms? Were Rama, Ravana and Hanuman historical personalities? Any proofs? Can the Bhakti movement be described as a protest against the rigid caste system? We are asked to increase the sales of our company. By increasing the sales of our company, are we not taking away sales from the rival companies, thereby causing them harm? In the Mahabharata war Sri Krishna eliminated every one including Bheeshma, Drona, Karna and Duryodhana by unfair means. How can one explain the unethical conduct of Sri Krishna ? I am a working woman. I leave my two year old child in a creche and go to work. My husband feels that I should give up my job to look after our child. What should I do? There are several pathways to reach God. However, don’t you think Jnanamarg is the best path though, Bhaktimarg is undoubtedly of help to simple people who may not be capable of reasoning? Are the Epics and the Puranas historical work? It is said Ahimsa paramodharmaha. Yet, we eat corn, vegetables etc. Are we not therefore committing sin by killing the living organisms? What are the similarities between the Gita and the Holy Koran? What according to the Gita is the concept of ‘Prasada’? Krishna was one who could look into the future. Knowing that the war would lead to mass destruction, why then did he persuade Arjuna to fight? I find some of the practices like tree worship primitive.
