1994   Smt. Sulochana Natu, Sister in law of Shri M.R. Yardi, Chairman of the Bhavan's Pune Kendera gifts a Bungalow situated at 120, Prabhat Road, Erandvana.
Inauguration of the New primary School Complex of Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidya Mandir, Calcutta (sept.15, 1994).
Vedic Sammelan: The Bhavan in collaboration with the Maharshi Sandeepany Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan, Govt. of India organizes a three day Vedic Sammelan from April 2 to 4, 1994 at Bhavan's auditorium, Bombay. The Sammelan was inaugurated by Shri Arjun Singh, the then Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. More than 100 vedic pandits drawn from different parts of the country took part in the Sammelan.

Vedamurti Guru Gangeshwarananda Veda Ratna Awards (four biennial awards) instituted in the name of Vedanta Guru Gangeshwarananda (1881-1922) who was not only a Veda Acharya but also hailed as Vedamurti and who belonged to the select galaxy of Bhavan's honorary Members.

1996   Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, President of India, lays the foundation-stone of Bhavan's Vivekananda Sarva Dharma Maitri Complex in Thrissur, Kerala on February 15, 1996.
Inauguration of Bhavan's Gandhi Institute of Computer Education & Information Technology for giving free computer training to the educated unemployed of the economically weaker sections of society, by Dr. Manmohan Singh, then Union Finance Minister and present Prime Minister on July 23, 1996.
Shri Vishwanath Trivedi Pravachan Mandir with a seating capacity of 100 is formally declared open on April 19, at the Bhavan's Chennai Kendra by Shri R. Venkatraman, former President of India.
