School Building

The lush green sylvan and tranquil campus of Bhavan's Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor is the youngest offshoot of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra. It is a joint venture of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Hindustan Newsprint Limited and the agreement was executed on 1st April, 2003. The sprawling 9.5 acre campus was taken over in May 2003 by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and the institution has been steadily growing ever since. Now the school stands tall among the senior secondary schools of the region with a staff-strength of 110 and 1420 students. The SMC monitors and guides the functioning of the school and the active PTA is the strength and support of the school. Following the ideals of our Founder Kulapati Dr K M Munshi, the school provides holistic education firmly believing in the ageless culture, tradition and values of our country with the right blend of modern technology.
