The Programme Division has set up in 2007 with a view to focus on reorientation of regular programmes in the field of culture, education and arts to further the mission of the Bhavan.
As one of the activities to promote Bhavan's Mission and objectives, Bhavan's Delhi Kendra organizes various events in pursuance of the Bhavan's objectives. Notable them are: 'Malhar Utsav- an Evening of Hindustani Vocal Music', Book Release, Seminars /Workshops Kavi Sammelan on Hindi Divas, Inter-School Competition on recitation of Bhajans - dear to Mahatma Gandhi, Inter-School Sanskrit Shloka Competition and Inter-College Upanishad Paath Competition; Gita Jayanti, Birth Celebrations of Dr. K.M. Munshi., Vasant Panchami and Vasantotsav.etc.
Bhavan's Delhi Kendra had taken up a number of programmes and projects to celebrate 150th Anniversary Year of Mahatma Gandhi in its educational institutions which include Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya, Bhavan's Usha and Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management, Leelavati Munshi College of Education and other Units which provide facilities for studies of various aspects of India's cultural heritage, Communication, Foreign Languages etc.

  • 150th Birth Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi: The Bhavan's Delhi Kendra had taken up a major programme of organizing a Lecture Series on Mahatma Gandhi as a tribute to the Father of the Nation with the objective of apprising and making aware the current generation especially the youth, students and teachers of Mahatma Gandhi's thoughts and Philosophy and their relevance today. This effort is important as general thinking has developed that most of the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi are no longer relevant in today's India.
  • Swarnajali: Since 2009, every year Bhavan's Delhi Kendra organizes an Inter-School Bhajans (dear to Bapu) Competition (Swaranjali) in which prestigious schools of Delhi and NCR participate.
  • Kavya Goshthi: Since 2007, every year Bhavan's Delhi Kendra organizes 'Kavya Goshthi' on the occasion of Hindi Divas and invites eminent Poets like Shri Surinder Sharma, Dr. Vishnu Saxena, Shri Aalok Shrivastava, Shri Sanjay Jain, Shri Chirag Jain, Shri Pravin Shukla etc.
  • Bhavan's Sangeet Samaroh: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi Kendra, to celebrate its Foundation Day and to pay tribute to its Founder, Kulapati K.M. Munshi, has organized, Bhavan's Sangeet Samaroh, in which eminent artistes from Hindustani. Carnatic vocal music, classical dance forms and instrumental music are presented to a distinguished gathering at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, usually on 6th, 7th & 8th November.
    On this occasion Bhavan also brings out thematic digest to create awareness about our ancient texts, related to the Performing Arts.
  • Bhavan's Sangeet Shikhar Samman: Since 2010, on the occasion of Bhavan's Sangeet Samaroh, Bhavan's Delhi Kendra confers 'Bhavan's Sangeet Shikhar Samman' (a purse of Rupees One Lakh along with Citation and Scroll) on an eminent artiste.

Highlights of Platinum Jubilee Year:

  • Installation and Unveilling of Kulapati Munshiji's Bust: A Bronze Bust of Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi was installed in the fore court of Mehta Sadan. On 1st May 2013, the Hon'ble Speaker Lok Sabha Smt. Meira Kumar unveiled the bust of Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi.
  • Kulapati K.M. Munshi Sangeet Samman: Bhavan's Delhi Kendra bestowed one time Kulapati K.M. Munshi Sangeet Samman' on Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, who devoted his life to Indian Classical Music. A purse of Rupees One Lac along with Citation and Scroll was presented to him.
  • Commemorative Postage Stamp: A Commemorative Stamp displays Bhavan's building in Mumbai over-looked by Kulapati K.M. Munshi was released on 7th November, 2013. Shri Kapil Sibal , Hon'ble Minister of Communication and IT, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest.
  • Platinum Jubilee Lecture Series (2013-2014): In the year 2013 and 2014 Bhavan's Delhi Kendra organized 'Platinum Jubilee Lecture Series. 18 Lectures were delivered by the eminent personalities on various aspects. The first lecture was delivered by Dr. Karan Singhon 'Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - its relevance Today and After' and the lecture series was concluded by the lecture delivered by Shri H. N. Dastur, Executive Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The topic of the lecture was 'Munshi The Creative Genius'.
  • Seminars: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan with the objective of exploring the travel and organization of Sanskrit language and literature beyond our boundaries, organized three International Seminars like 'Sanskrit on the Silk Route', 'Sanskrit on the Maritime Route' , Sanskrit & Europe held in 2016. Scholars of eminence from India and Abroad presented their research papers on contribution of Sanskrit to Europe through enrichment of European language and contribution of European indoloogists.
    The presentations in these three International Seminars have been already published in book form.
  • Sangitaratnakara - a Seminar on the Codification of the Textual & Oral Practices of Sarangadeva.
  • Silappatikaram: A Seminar on 'Silappatikaram' ( a Tamil Epic portraying the geographical, historical and social tradition in performing Arts through the tragic story about Kovalam and Kannagi: authored by Iiaango Adigal)
  • Courses being conducted by Programme Division (Under the Aegis of Centre of Indology)
    • Six Months/One Year Diploma Courses in Yoga Vidya, Acupressure, Holistic Healing, Interior Designing & Decoration, Diet & Nutrition and Fundamental Principles of Ayurveda
    • Three Months Certificate Courses in Tarrot Card Reading, Digital Marketing
    • One Year Diploma Courses in Vaastushastra, Advance Vaastushastra, Numerology, Palmistry,dvance Palmistry.
