Inaugurated by Bharat Ratna Late Sh. C. Subramanium in the year 1994, Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula is a constituent institution of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The Vidyalaya endeavours to keep alive the Bhavan's faith as set forth by late Dr. K.M Munshi, of reintegrating Indian culture and holding fast to the fundamental values for which it stands. Bhavan Vidyalaya is a Senior Secondary Public School affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school is a co-educational institution with classes from L.KG – Grade XII, the medium of instruction being English. The institution strives to provide, in keeping with the aims of comprehensive quality education to develop all facets of a child's personality.

Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula students Moulik Jindal and Raghav Goyal topped the Tricity with a percentile of 99.9973152 in JEE Mains. Twelve students from the school have secured a percentile above 99. According to both the toppers, passion and consistency are the keys to their success. Students above 99 percentiles are Harsh Taya (99.9406), Rohan Mahakur (99.893), Vaasu Kansal (99.8908), Nikhil Verma (99.8125), Sanchit Garg (99.7516), Puranjay (99.6788), Kabir Sandhu (99.6036), Tanush Sharma (99.5543), Sanyam Kansal (99.5225) and Sasmit (99.51).
In order to inculcate good traits and a positive spirit of serving one’s parents in the heart and soul of students, a programme with regard to ‘Parents Worship Day’ (Matri Pitri Pujan Diwas) was organised at Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula for the students of Class III to X.
The session began with a discussion on the qualities of an ideal student, coupled with a demonstration of ‘Yoga’, exercises for the all-round development of the students.
Members of the Shri Yog Vedant Seva Samiti, Panchkula, stressed on the dire need to celebrate the unending and unconditional love of the parents for their children on February 14 as ‘Parents Worship Day’.
The students performed the ritual of worshiping their teachers in accordance with Indian tradition, with tilak, garland, vandan and offering sweets. This helped to instil cultural values of Indian heritage in the children.
Rachit Ahuja, a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula, won the state level of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, which is a national programme for educating and popularising science among school students of VI to XI standards. Rachit has further been selected for the national level, to be held at Trivandrum. He won a cash prize of Rs. 5000 along with a trophy and certificate.
Classmate all Rounder 2022, a large-scale National Multi-Skill competition for school students was launched by ITC’s Classmate, the largest notebooks brand in India, to facilitate holistic development of students and help them become well rounded individuals. Classmate All Rounder was conducted at 3 Levels—School, City and National—with each level having a set of competitions that evaluated multiple skills across academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Saanvi Gupta of Class 6 from Bhavan Vidyalaya Sector-15, Panchkula won the first prize. She was awarded a trophy and a cheque for 10000 rupees.
She was selected for the final round that was held in Bangalore.
Under the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula organised a poster making competition ‘Exam Warriors Art Competition’ on January 23, 2023 for the students of Classes 9 to 12 in the school premises.
Students drew beautiful and creative posters on various themes. Haryana Assembly Speaker Sh. Gian Chand Gupta along with Chairman, Bhavan’s Panchkula Kendra Justice G. C. Garg (Retd.), esteemed members of the school’s Kendra Committee and distinguished dignitaries graced the occasion.
In the prize distribution ceremony, the students were felicitated with a certificate and the book Exam Warriors authored by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, which has been exclusively written for young students to help them deal with the stress of exams.
