NEWS & EVENTS
The Book Club was initiated by Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Chithali, specifically with the goal of enhancing the Vocabulary and Comprehension skills of the students with regard to the English language. Book Club is a great way to motivate and encourage students to read, to get them interested in and talking about books, and have them interpret various ideas and perspectives on the books they love. The end goal is to make the students voracious readers. It is hoped that the Book Club will encourage the students to start thinking critically and out of the box, which in turn will heavily enhance their reading and comprehension skills. Their ability to express and interpret ideas orally with confidence in the English language will also improve.
The Hindustan Scouts and Guides, a National Scouting and Guiding Association of India, instills in the students good moral and social values so that they can conduct themselves with dignity and mould themselves into a true, honest and healthy new generation aware of their responsibilities as future citizens of India.
The Rajya Puraskar Award ceremony was conducted at Sree Sarada Vidyalaya, Kalady, Ernakulam on April 2nd, 2022. The Governor of Kerala distributed the prestigious Rajya Puraskar Awards to 259 Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbul, Achievers Award to 21 Principals, and Medal of Merit to 32 Trainers.
It is a matter of pride that Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Chithali was one among the 21 schools that received this prestigious award from the honourable Governor of Kerala, Sri. Arif Mohammed Khan in the presence of Sri. M. Jouhar (State Secretary, HSGA), Sri. Bharat Arora (National Chairman HSGA), Sri. M. Abdul Naser (State Chief Commissioner, HSGA), Sri Kishore Singh Chauhan (National Organising Commisioner).
