Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hinganghat Kendra was established in 2007 with the motive to form an educational institution which will provide quality and child centric education with all religions. With this motive Bhavan's Girdhardas Mohota Vidya Mandir was established in 2008.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hinganghat Kendra Executive Committee was formed on April 20, 2007 and it reconstituted on June 12, 2022. Objectives of the Kendra is to provide all facility, and form policies for the development and progress of the children.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hinganghat Kendra always stands for the overall development of the students. Kendra had organized International Spell BEE competition twice. Kendra had also organized Central and West zone Science and Maths workshop in the school premises. CBSE Cluster IX Table Tennis Tournament was organized twice in the school by Kendra.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hinganghat Kendra has provided ecofriendly building along with solar. Huge Sports complex is provided by Kendra with the facility of volley ball, Football, Table Tennis, skating, karate classes, Swimming and cricket. For the safety of children complete premises along with classrooms are equipped with CC TV.
Students are frequently sent for tours and participate in various competition. School has conducted foreign tour also.
NEWS & EVENTS

A two-phase session was organised on January 13, 2025 at Bhavan’s Girdhardas Mohota Vidya Mandir, Hinganghat. The first session was for parents of students from Classes 6 to 10 on the topic: ‘The role of parents in the personality development of children’ and the second session was for parents of students from Classes 1 to 5. The topic was ‘The importance of giving home teachings to children’. Honourable Shri Devpujariji, the head of All India Sanskrit Bharati, was present as the keynote speaker and chief guest.
Addressing the parents, Shri Devpujariji said that students should be motivated for personality development, and the parents and home play the biggest role in giving home teachings. To develop the confidence among the children and to make them responsible, parents must understand children’s feelings and their needs. Parents must have informal talk with children to create strong bonds. Parents must give values to children by their behaviour and healthy family atmosphere because personality development is a continuous process.
Both sessions were very successful with great support and presence of parents.

Bhavan’s Girdhardas Mohota Vidya Mandir (GVM) recently celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Merriment’, with a dazzling display of talent and a vibrant atmosphere. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Jagdish Lakhani, Executive Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, as the Chief Guest; Smt. Premlataji Mohota, Chairperson of SMC Bhavan’s GVM, as the Guest of Honour; Shri Basant Kumarji Mohota, Chairman, Hinganghat Kendra; Dr. Ashish Kumar Sarkar, Director of Hinganghat Kendra; Shri Brajratanji Bhattad, Secretary of Hinganghat Kendra, and the Principal Smt. Dharati Tamgire.
The evening showcased the diverse talents of the students through a captivating array of performances, including mesmerising dance routines, melodious musical renditions, and thought-provoking skits.
On this occasion, students were awarded, including Saumya Chandankhede with the Pranlal Devkaran Nanji Award, Kumari Dnyanada Bonde for PPT presentation at CMS Lucknow, Swara Mude for the Junior Scientist Award, and Yatharth Janaikar for the first prize and Tanishk Dhomne for the second prize at VNIT Ideathon.

Bhavan's International Spell Bee Competition was held on February 8, 2020 at the Indian Education School, Kuwait, Bhavan's Girdhardas Mohota Vidya Mandir Hinganghat and Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara, Kochi simultaneously. Participants from Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, Bahrain and India participated in the BISB Grand Finale 2019-20.
The Chief Guest, revered Shri Basant Kumar Mohota, Chairman Hinganghat Kendra, Guest of Honour venerable Shri Brajratan Bhattad, Secretary Hinganghat Kendra, Smt. Premlata Mohota, chairperson SMC Hinganghat, the Coordinator of Bhavan's International Spell Bee, Shri Sunil Kumar Menon and Principal Dr. Ashish Kumar Sarkar graced the occasion.
The contest was held live from Kuwait, India, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain and Bahrain. Ten contestants won iPads in the lucky draw.
Miss Khushi Chitlange from Bhavan's GVM Hinganghat represented the host school and grabbed the first runner up position in the Honeybee Category, winning cash prize of worth Rs. 89,000 and Miss Sara Sanghvi from Bhavan's GVM Hinganghat bagged the second runner up position, winning cash prize of worth Rs. 71,200 the in Bumble Bee category.
