Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir student, Hrithika Bhattacharjee of Class 9, was awarded third position at circle level for entry in Universal Postal Union International Letter Writing Competition 2025. She won a cash prize of Rs. 5000, Silver Ganesha and a certificate.

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Dibiyanka Saha and Bibhor Pal secured 3rd position in Level 1 of Scienergy 3.0 for their model titled ‘Braille vs Pentadot’, organised by Techno College of Engineering, Agartala, in association with the Tripura State Council for Science and Technology.
School Essay Competition 2025–26

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Sreshtha Bhattacharjee, Sneharika Dey and Malini Bhattacharya in the Junior Category and Swadvika Chowdhury, Shrestha Datta, and Moumita Baishya in the Senior Category on securing positions in the School Essay Competition 2025–26 organised by Tata Building India. Arpit Chakraborty secured position among the top 10 participants at Bangla Sanskriti Baloy.

Two talented students of Class IX of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir achieved a commendable achievement in the field of literature. Their books were published in December 2025—Tamishra Deb’s ‘Silent Waves’ and Srijani Guru’s ‘Untold Stories’. These two books are priced at Rs. 150 and they are available on Flipkart.
Cycling Rally

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir organised a vibrant celebration of youth and vitality. The girls took charge with an empowering Cycling Rally, while the boys championed harmony with a Run for Peace. Honouring Swami Vivekananda’s legacy through action and fitness!

The school performed very well in the Arshi Kotha state-level programme. In the Wall Magazine Competition, the students secured 1st position, and in Kotha Chobi competition, Anurag secured a prize in the Top 15, and Debojit and Bishal achieved positions in the Best 30.

Industrial Visit

Bhavan’s Tripura Teacher Training College (BTTTC), Anandanagar, Agartala, organised an industrial visit on December 8, 2025 under the Environment Education Programme sponsored by the Tripura State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB). The visit aimed to provide experiential learning to the teacher trainees by linking environmental education with real-world industrial and ecological practices. The visit covered two important destinations—North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) and the Adarini Vermi Fertilizer & Research Centre.
Gita Contest Quiz Competition


ISKCON, Agartala organised the Gita Contest Quiz Competition. Pritha Chakraborty (Class 8) got 2nd Position and received a prize, certificate and Rs. 2000 cash. In an online quiz competition for all, Soumyajit Chakraborty (Class 9) and Aishi Das (Class 9) secured 1st position. Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir also received an award for participating in a De-addiction Campaign.
SIP Arithmetic Genius All-India Inter-School Contest 2025

The State Final Prize Distribution Ceremony of the SIP Arithmetic Genius All-India Inter-School Contest 2025 was held on January 2, 2026 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan. Samrat Shil of Class 2 secured the position of 2nd Runner-up and was awarded a certificate, memento, and a cash prize of Rs. 3,000. In addition, Anurima Saha of Class 4 and Debosmita Barman of Class 5 were honoured as Best Performers among the top ten performers and received certificates and mementos.
TATASTEEL Chess championship

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir student, Shakya Singha Modak secured 1st position at TATASTEEL Chess championship 2026 Under-19 Rapid at Kolkata.
Know Your Leader

Ananya Sen, a Class 11 Science student of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, represented Tripura at the national ‘Know Your Leader’ programme and visited Parliament on December 25, 2025. Selected among 108 students, she showcased Tripura’s culture and was one of the 12 speakers in the Central Hall. The experience became a proud milestone in her academic journey.

Viksit Bharat: Young Leaders’ Dialogue

Shaurya Majumder (Class XI) and Tanusri Debnath (Class XI) were selected for the 3rd round of the Viksit Bharat: Young Leaders’ Dialogue, a prestigious national initiative aimed at nurturing youth leadership and innovative thinking. After successfully qualifying through multiple stages of selection, they represented the institution at the national-level interaction held in New Delhi on January 11-12, 2026. Shaurya Majumder presented his ideas on the theme ‘Youth in Democracy’, highlighting the role of young citizens in strengthening democratic values, while Tanusri Debnath spoke on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, focusing on self-reliance and national development. Their selection at this advanced stage is a testament to their analytical ability, clarity of thought, and commitment to nation-building.

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir Hindi teacher, Mrs. Priya Roy, was invited by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, former Union Education Minister, to attend the three-day ‘Lekhak Gaon Mahotsav’ (Writers’ Village Festival) held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
It is indeed a matter of great pride for the school that Mrs. Priya Roy, as a new writer, was honoured for her remarkable literary contribution and for encouraging students to express themselves through writing. The honour bestowed by Dr. Nishank and the Lekhak Gaon family is not only a recognition of her work but also an inspiration for all the teachers and students.

Debate and Speech Competition

On Teacher’s day, the Lions Club organised a debate and speech competition. In this competition student Hrittika Bhattacharya of Class 9 received a certificate of participation in speech competition and Ritesh Guha Roy of Class 11 became the champion in debate competition.
10th Olympiad

Largest school level Olympiad in the state of Tripura completed its 10th Olympiad exam with grand success in five centres—Narsinghar, Khowai, Udaipur, Ranirbazar and Anandanagar. 10000 students and 48 schools participated.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2025

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir successfully organised the Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign. Among all the activities there were Tiranga Display by tiny tots, Notice Board Decoration, Door-to-Door Tiranga drives, letter writing campaigns to show gratitude towards soldiers and police personnel.
