Title : Krishna and Human Relations
Author : Harindranath Dave
Pages : 499
Availability: Currently out of stock.
ISBN : 81-7276-239-9

About the book:

The book is not the traditional kind of book where the birth of the hero is the beginning and his life is the continuation. Here Krishna enters Mahabharat story during Draupadi's swayamwar. The author strongly believes that it is Krishna who is the central character of Mahabharat and without him there would have been no Mahabharat. Shri Dave has gone into great depths of the character of Krishna and has treated him like a well known personality of our times.
Shri Dave has interpreted and explained many things in a different light. For example he says that though there was a great fight between Rama and Ravana here was no Gita preached. This was because Mahabharata is a fight between cousins and relatives where no one fought with full heart. Shri Krishnas Bhagwad Gita was very necessary to put things into perspective. He has also explained certain other factors in a different way. King Shalya was Karnas charioteer and he went on demoralising Karna(he had given a promise to Yudhisthira that he would do so) and because of this karna was not able to fully concentrate on the war. He has also spoken about the small skrirmishes between the pandavas which many Mahabharat tellers have glossed over. The book ends with a description of Krishna laving his physical body and the Pandavas going to heaven and meeting him there.
