About the book:

The author Swami Ranganathanandaji is a very widely traveled person who has a prolific pen as well. He has written memoirs of his trips and speeches wherever he went. Volume One consists of his travels to places like Japan, Singapore and Fiji in 1958, to the seven south east Asian countries in 1960 and to seventeen European countries in 1961.
The book is divided into three parts each dealing with a different tour. Swamiji toured all the countries of the world extensively and the detailed day to day records of his tours are given, almost minute to minute. Some of the writings have been done on board flights. Aspects of his stay in different places gives the reader a flavour of the places Swamiji visited.

About The Author: Swami Ranganathananda :
Winner of the first Indira Gandhi award for National Integration, Swami Ranganathananda was President of Ramakrishna Math and then Vice President of the world wide Ramakrishna Math. He has written several books, and 60 titles of audio tapes expounding the ideas of Ramakrishna Vivekananda and Vedanta.
