The second volume of A pilgrim Looks at the World, presents before the vision of the reader a unique image of India in its inter-action with the contemporary world, especially in the field of ideas, and as viewed by one who has been a real messenger of India wherever he has gone and who is a pilgrim from India at home everywhere.
In this volume, the widely traveled Swami Ranganathanandaji has recorded his visits and speeches to places like the US and 24 other countries he visited in 1968 and 1969. Part one of the book consists of questions put by interested people to the Swami and his interesting answers to them. The second part covers the Swami's second European lecture tour of 1970 while the third and the fourth part consists of his lecture tour of Australia, US and ten other countries, and Afghanistan. The fifth part contains his lectures delivered at Zimbabwe, Madagascar and Mauritius.


About The Author: Swami Ranganathananda :
Winner of the first Indira Gandhi award for National Integration, Swami Ranganathananda was President of Ramakrishna Math and then Vice President of the world wide Ramakrishna Math. He has written several books, and 60 titles of audio tapes expounding the ideas of Ramakrishna Vivekananda and Vedanta.
