According to Gandhiji the message of Jesus Christ is essentially the message of love and is contained in his Sermon on the Mount. Bhagavad Gita also tells the same. Gandhiji did not make any difference between the two and derived equal joy and love from both. This book is an extract from Gandhiji's talks, discussions and writings on the theme.The book begins with Gandhiji's recollections of his days in Rajkot when he had not come across the Bible. Later on he met a person who gave him a copy of the Bible which influenced his life a great deal. The continuing pages talk of Gandhiji's thoughts on reading the Bible, his contacts with Christians and the message of Jesus Christ.

About The Author: Anand T Hingorani :
The Author: Anand T Hingorani was born in 1907 and graduated from Bombay university. He joined the Mahatma during the Dandi march and was chosen to be Gandhiji's Personal secretary for some time. Anand Hingorani was the editor of Gandhiji's weekly 'Harijan' and did a lot of social work. In 1941 Hingorani launched the 'Gandhi series' by collecting Gandhiji's scattered writings and compiling them, with the blessings of Gandhiji himself.
