Former President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam visited the Bhavan's Chennai Kendra on February 8, 2013, for participating in a Children's Program. During the interactive session, Dr. Abdul Kalam released the Bhavan's Journal February 15th issue, which covers the twin celebrations of Bhavan's Platinum Jubilee and Kulapati Munshi's 125th Birth Anniversary Year inauguration by the Rashtrapati at Mumbai. Dr. Kalam also released the fresh edition of Munshiji's book, Pilgrimage to Freedom on the occasion.
