Four books dealing with Indian culture, published by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan were released on May 30 at Chennai. A study of The Hindu Science of Architecture and its Practice by N. R. Dave, Srividyasara-Prasnottara by Goda Venkateswara Sastri, Sree Krishnam Bhaja Maansa by Sankaran and Parvati Sankaran and Guru of Gurus by Indira Ramanathan were released and the authors felicitated on the ocasion. N. Ravi, editor-in-chief of The Hindu and vice chairman of Bhavan's Chennai Kendra released the books. Justice S. Jagadeesan, former judge of the Madras High court received the first copies of the books. L. Sabretnam, Chairman of Bhavan's Chennai Kendra presided over the function and the authors spoke on the occasion. Shri Ramaswamy, Director of Bhavan's Chennai Kendra organised the release function.
