Daughter's Day Celebration
|
Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Guntur chapter celebrated Daughters' Day on March 17, 2021 as a part of week long celebrations of "Child and adolescent Health Care" in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Guntur with a theme Beti Bacho, Beti Padaav, Bharat Ko Aage Badao.
Child specialist, Dr. Kondabolu Krishna Prasad, IAP Guntur Chapter President and Dr. Sahati, from Ramesh Hospitals, Guntur addressed the children and gave health tips to girls.
In his speech, he said that women should take up leadership roles in society to help in the development of the nation.
In this connection, an art and painting competition was conducted, under the supervision of Vidyashram's Art teacher Mr. V. V. Ramana Rao. Winners from each class were given prizes in the form of books.
