Mission Planet

Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir organised Mission Planet, on the occasion of World Environment Day, an Inter-Bhavan's Event involving the North and North East Bhavan's Schools. The celebrations consisted of one online event which was performed live on the 5th of June and two offline projects that were done by the participants and submitted to the host school. The online event-Plans for our Planet, required students of classes IX and X to present PPTs on innovative ways to control pollution on our planet.
Re-use and Re-cycle, a DIY project, through which students of classes VI - VIII created useful products or art work from biodegradable materials. Good-Planeteers, a 5 minute video performance by the students of classes XI and XII on creating a greener planet.
The event was successful in its mission of sensitising the students about some of the environmental issues which is indeed very important especially during the current pandemic.
