Bhavan's SL Public School organised mass marriages on April 19 on the school premises. This joint venture was made possible with the cooperation of students, parents, teachers and social workers of the city. Shri Bakshi Ram Arora, Mayor Amritsar was the Chief Guest and Smt & Shri Naveen Mittal, Renowned Philanthropists were the Guests of Honour. Fifteen couples registered their names in these marriages. Gift items worth 20,000/- were given to them to start their new life. Reception of Barat was followed by Breakfast and Anand Karaj was followed by delicious lunch . Students presented a cultural show.
