The students of Bhavan Vidyalaya celebrated Raksha Bandhan. After performing Pooja of trees the Senior Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Banerjee tied Raksha sootra around a tree. The children also took a vow to protect the trees. The boys tied the band of security on the wrist of girls and promised not only to protect them from evil eye but to respect them as well. Students also tied Raksha sootra around taps in order to boost Water Conservation and to ensure Optimum Utilisation of Water.
