The 5th edition of 'Enguizard' Annual Inter School Quiz competition on the English language and usage was conducted by Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara on August 4, 2015 at the school auditorium. Conducted for 3 categories, the quiz covers Classes V-XII. 20 schools participated in it. The special focus of this year's competition was Lewis Caroll's evergreen children's classic 'Alive in Wonderland' which is celebrating its 150th year of publication. The Choice School, Toc-H Public School and Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya were winners in the sub-juniors, junior and senior categories respectively.
The event was inaugurated by Smt. Meena Viswanathan, Academic Consultant and education Officer, Shikshan Bharati. Smt. Meena Viswanathan lauded the efforts of the school in organising such competitions which would encourage students to delve deep into the nuances of the English language and also keep abreast with the rapid changes taking place in it. Also present at the inaugural function were Shri E. Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, Smt. Jaya Jacob, Principal, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara and Ms. Girija T. S., Vice-Principal, Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara.
