Ms. Saina Nehwal felicitated by Chairman of the Governing Body and Principals of Bhavan's Atmakuri Rama Rao School and Bhavan's Vidyashram, NIRD Campus

Ms. Saina Nehwal, the Olympic Medal Winner and World No.1 Badminton Player, was a student of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Vidyashram, Hyderabad, from 4th to 10th Std. BBC organised a programme to prepare a documentary on Ms. Saina Nehwal's visit to the school to bring out her childhood memories in the school. The BBC camera team followed her throughout her visit in the school.
The students received Ms. Saina Nehwal with applause and cheers. She was received by Shri S. Gopalakrishnan (Chairman of Governing Body), Dr. R. A. Rani (Formerly Maths Teacher of Ms. Saina Nehwal) and Shri B. Ravi Kiran (Principal of Bhavan's Vidyashram, NIRD Campus). Ms. Saina Nehwal was honoured and felicitated by Shri S. Gopalakrishnan. She recollected sweet memories of her student career in the school and shared the same with all the students and teachers. 'Saina Nehwal Block' donated by her to the school is a standing monument of her love and affection for the school.
