Bhavan's Vidya Mandir in Pathanamthitta was started on April 14, 2006. It was formally inaugurated by Shri M.A. Baby, then Minister for Education, Kerala, in October 2007. The school runs classes from KG to Std X. the strength of the school at present is 934. The school has 54 teaching and 28 non-teaching staff. The school obtained the affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in November 2012.
The school will be presenting its first batch of students for the X std board exam during March 2016. The school hosted the Capacity Building Programme to empower the teachers of CBSE Schools. Around 53 teachers attended the two-day training programme.
