Ms. Richa Syal Head of the Fine Arts department at Bhavan Vidyalaya Sec-15, Panchkula has won "The Best Painting Award" in International Art Festival held at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Virbhadra Singh. The Painting titled 'Redeem' projected the deplorable condition of Mother Earth due to man's indiscriminate activities and an ardent desire for a clean and green environment that was there years ago. The artistic work was highly appreciated by visitors and the esteemed guests. The Principal, Dr. (Smt.) Shashi Banerjee commended Ms. Richa for her achievement and encouraged her to keep expressing herself through art.
