The students and Yoga teacher of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula participated in the 5th Swami Vivekananda Open National Yogasan Championship 2012 held at Chandigarh on May 19, 2012 and won several awards for the school in different categories.
In the Under 12 Age group, Sejal of class VI bagged the Gold medal while Yashika, Akshat, Aneesh and Himanshi came 5th in the competition.
In the Under 15 Age group, Arunima of class X won the Gold medal and Mahima of class VIII won the bronze medal. In the Under 18 Age group, Kritika of class X won the Gold medal.
In the Above 30 Age group, Shivani Sachdeva, the yoga teacher bagged the Gold medal.
All the winners were felicitated in the school for their wonderful performance.
