Interactive Session at BGKV
|
On January 18, 2016, an interactive session on 'Undergraduate Studies in the USA: admission and application process' was conducted in the Audio visual room of Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir. It was attended by the students of class XI. Chandni Wadhwani, Education USA Adviser, United States - India Education Foundation, conducted the session with the help of a power point presentation. Education USA is U.S. department of State's official source on higher education in the U.S. It is a network of hundreds of advising centers around the world, providing students with accurate, comprehensive and current information on U.S. higher study trends year after year. In Kolkata, it is a part of a bi-national center- USIEF (United States-India Educational Foundation) which is a joint commission of the Governments of the U.S. and India.
This was an informative session where students received valuable information on how to obtain higher education from the U.S. and higher education prospects in the U.S. The students also learnt about the increasing number of universities that are willing to offer financial aid to deserving students for higher education in the U.S. The organisation has also assured to assist the students in every possible way to fulfil their dream of studying in the U.S.
