The Ramayana week celebration in Bhavan's Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor commenced on July 18th. Prof. Balachandran (School of letters, M. G. University), the famous actor, director and script writer was the chief guest. He inaugurated the celebrations and addressed the gathering.
On the second day of the celebration, the school was blessed with the presence of Prof. M. K. Sanu. Gurupoornima was also celebrated on this day and the students of Std XII gave their Gurudakshina to Prof. M. K. Sanu and the teachers of the school.
The third day of the celebration was taken up by the teachers with Bhajans and Ramayana parayanam.
Shri E. Ramankutty was the guest on the fourth day. He inaugurated the celebration and addressed the gathering.
On the last day there was a dance recital by Smt. Ambili Aneesh.
