An 'Art and Craft Mela' was organised by the Art department of Jubilee Hill, on August 5, 2016. The chief guest, a prominent Indian painter and printmaker, Shri K. Laxma Goud, emphasised on the need of nurturing passion towards creative art, bonding with nature and promoting traditional crafts.
Students learnt the basics of various art forms such as traditional mask making, clay modelling, paper flower making, wooden toy making, and batik printing, mehandi art.
Shri S. Gopalakrishnan, appreciated the creative talent of the students.
