The Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Thiruvananthapuram Kendra were held on June 23, 2012. The function was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, His Highness Shri Padmanabha Dasa Uthradom Tirunal Marthanda Varma, Maharaja of Travancore. The Hon. Minister for Health, Shri V. S. Sivakumar inaugurated the cultural programme and Mayor Advocate K.Chandrika honoured the former Office bearers and teachers with 25 years of service.
The inaugural function was presided over by the Chairperson Kumari Justice A Lakshmikutty and the welcome speech was given by Vice Chairman, Shri Sreenivasan Pulikeshi, IPS. Felicitation speeches were offered by many, including Shri Sivankutty, MLA, Shri Ramankutty, Director Kochi Kendra, Shri Vaikom Venugopal, Associate Secretary of the Kendra and many others.
