At the hawan

The academic session for the year 2017-18 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's V. M. Public School, Vadodara marked an auspicious beginning on March 20, 2017. To seek the blessings of the Almighty for the smooth functioning of the school, a ceremonial Gayatri Hawan was performed in the pristine surroundings of the Saraswati temple.
During the hawan, as the holy hymns were being chanted, all the students and teachers of class XII offered the 'aahuti' into the holy pyre. The atmosphere echoed with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra by all the students and teachers. The Puja ended with the Holy Aarti, singing the glory of Lord by the students and teachers. At the end, all the students and teachers received the Prasad and proceeded to their classes. After this, all the other classes from Primary and Secondary wing visited the temple to take the blessings and Prasad.
The new academic session commenced in a solemn way reinstating our faith in the Almighty.
